Our Mission

MTECH Ventures provides cutting-edge entrepreneurship education to technology creators and stimulates venture creation by delivering a portfolio of services and resources to entrepreneurs committed to bridging the gap between technical ideas and viable ventures. 

What We Do

MTECH Ventures, part of the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering, engages in these activities:

  1. Launching and accelerating the growth of early-stage companies based on UM innovations;

  2. Providing hands-on support and social capital to regional entrepreneurs building new technology companies; and

  3. Educating technology creators to understand and apply entrepreneurial practices and tactics.
