Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development

Maryland Small Business Development Center
Since 1988, the seasoned staff of the Maryland Small Business Development Center (MDSBDC) Network has provided sound advice, counseling and support to entrepreneurs and small to mid-size businesses across the state. The Network, a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Maryland College Park, links private enterprise, government, higher education and local economic development organizations to provide management, training and technical assistance to Maryland’s small businesses.
Greater Baltimore Technology Council
The Greater Baltimore Technology Council is devoted to one goal: growing the region's tech community. The GBTC asks tech companies what they need to grow and provides it through innovative programs. The GBTC creates forums where organizations can meet, learn and do business. And the GBTC celebrates the community's successes, spreading the word that technology businesses thrive here.
